Suit of Wands Card Meanings

Wands are living branches, and their cards are full of movement – people striding, building, competing, celebrating. The suit is linked to the element of fire, and it speaks about the energy behind what we do: passion, enthusiasm, willpower, creative sparks and the projects they turn into.

In a reading, Wands often answer the question "what drives you here?" Upright, they bring momentum and confidence; reversed, they can show burnout, scattered effort, impatience or a fire that has not yet caught. In love they speak of attraction and excitement; at work, of initiative, leadership and growth.
